Youth of May is a South Korean TV Series that started premiering on KBS 2 on 3rd May 2021 on Monday and Tuesday at 9:30 pm. It ended on 8th June 2021 with 12 episodes. Moon Jun-ha created the period drama. Scripted by Lee Kang, the series is directed by Song Min-Yeob. Ahn Chang-Hyun and Kang Bo-young produced the series under the banner, Story Hunter Production.

The story is set in the 80s during the uprising of Gwangju. Kim Myeong-hee is getting ready to go to Germany for her further studies. She is a nurse by profession. As she doesn’t have enough funds to get the flight ticket, she asks her friend Lee Soo-Ryeon. Lee assures her to lend money, but with the condition to have a blind date. Meanwhile, Kim Myeong-hee meets Hwang Hee-Tae, a medical student. They get attracted to each other on their first visit. What about her promise to Lee Soo-Ryeon? How Kim went to Germany, and what happened to her career? The rest of the story has the answers to all these.
