1. Kim Eun-sook
Kim Eun-Sook was born in 1973 in Gangneung-si, South Korea, and is a well-known television scriptwriter. Kim first gained recognition as a screenplay writer with her Korean drama ‘Lovers in Paris’ (2004), which turned out to be a great hit among audience. She has written many famous theatre scripts, including “On Air” (2008), “The Heirs” (2013), “Mr. Sunshine” (2018), and “The King: Eternal Monarch” (2020). The plots and settings of Kim's vision made her an illustrator of the romantic comedy genre because of the magnificence and overseas locations she used in her writings. The drama ‘Lovers in Paris’ got her "Best TV Screenplay" award in 2005 in Baeksang Arts Awards and also became the Korea’s 11th most favourite television series of all time.
