Sky Castle is a South Korean web series aired on the JTBC channel. The series was aired in the Korean language in 2018. It had a total of 21 episodes. It started on 23 November 2018 and ended on 1 February 2019. The series is one of the highest-rated dramas in Korean television history. The series was produced by Joo Sang-Kyoo, Moon Bo-mi, and Kim Ji-Yeon under the HB entertainment productions company. Yoo Hyun-Mi wrote the show, Jo Hyun-Tak directed it. It is a medical drama portraying the Korean education system and the things that are wrong in it. The cast includes Lee Tae-Ran, Yum Jung-Ah, Oh Na-Ra, Yoon Se-Ah, and Kim Seo-Hyung.

The main lead, Han Seo-Jin, was played by Yum Jung-Ah. She is a mother of two kids and wants her daughter to get into the national medical institute at any cost. When she was a little kid, she was poor and had an alcoholic father who used to abuse her. No one knows about her past except her husband, who supports her in her decision. There are other parents who live in the same society named sky castle. A new member moves into the society named Lee Soo Im. She feels that one should not force their kids into doing what they want. One should let their kids decide, and being harsh is not the way to do anything. Han Seo Jin goes to confront the exam coordinator who is doing things the wrong way.

She wants to raise her kids as a prince and princess and wants them to top the examination so that they can bring pride to their family. They all live in a high-class area, and everyone is so wealthy. The new family members know about Seo Jin’s past, and she wants them to keep quiet. There is another housewife who wants their kids to be a topper, but Soo Im tells her that what she is doing is wrong, and she should stop this. She accepts Soo Im’s methods and changes the way she treats her kids. She tells her husband that they should change the method and the way they treat their kids. In the school elections, other kids seem to win, but Seo Jin wants her kids to win, and she makes sure that they win by playing a few mind games with the concerned people.
