Selection Day is an Indian Hindi language web series. The show falls under the popular genre of sports drama. The sports drama is a genre in which the stories are set in the world of different sports and mostly focuses on the life and struggles of sportsmen. Sports dramas are one of the most popular genres ever and have some of the biggest films and shows under its shade. Selection Day is one of them. The show follows the story of two brothers. They both are almost the same age and are extremely hardworking and determined. They are Radha and Manjunath. Their father is a sports trainer and fanatic and he wants his kids to make a career in cricket. He thus starts training them since they were of small age. This has made them very able players but still, they lack the skill that is required to become a cricketer. Their father always pushes them to the edge which often frustrates them. One major conflict also is about whether the boys want to become a cricketer or they want something else for themselves.

Both the boys play in their village teams and have always performed exceptionally. This makes their father confident and now he wants them to move to Mumbai and starts training professionally to become a part of domestic leagues in the upcoming election season. As the boy moves to Mumbai, their struggle starts expanding. The show follows them as they train to get selected to play in the domestic leagues.
