Saubhagyalaxmi is an Indian daily opera soap airing on Zee Network’s Hindi subsidiary entertainment channel &TV. The show was launched on 4th January 2016, after the completion of its first season, Bhagyalaxmi. The show Saubhagyalaxmi was aired on the same time slot of 8 pm (IST), as the first season. The last episode of the show was telecast on 4th March 2016 and was produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms Ltd. The popularity of the season one resulted in the second season of the show by taking a leap of twenty years.

The love triangle between Muskan, Samarth and Sambhav come to an end when Muskan gets to know the reality of Samarth’s false richness. At the end, she decides to marry Sambhav, but the serial got a pick point when on the day of the marriage, Muskan eloped from her room and Kavya had to marry Sambhav for the sake of her Grandmother’s happiness, and with the hope that she would accept her. That completely changed Kavya’s life but with time she fell in love with Sambhav, and they had a happy married life. Just like the first season, the second one was also a hit. The daily drama soap showed a perfect combination of family, emotion and romance and the characters left their remarkable signs on the minds of the viewers.

Saubhaghyalakshmi is the second season of the daily soap opera Bhagyalakshmi which is broadcasted on Zee Network's Hindi entertainment channel &TV. This daily soap opera belongs to the drama genre whereas aspects of romance can also be traced. It consists of 40 episodes. The show is produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms Limited which has a reputation of producing successful TV shows in the current scenario of Indian entertainment.

The story is in continuation with the preceding season of Bhagyalakshmi, which describes the lives of Kavya, Kuhu and Muskaan. The story starts with the description of a house where these three girls reside with their grandmother whom they call Daadi. Daadi clearly loves Kuhu and Muskaan, but a parallel feeling is not seen for Kavya. When Kavya is going to her office, she sees a boy who gets hit by a car. She runs up to him and stops a car to ask for help. Instead of helping Kavya he starts insulting Kavya for being poor, also he says she is acting like poor people to make a little sum of money.

This infuriates Kavyaand this evokes to slap him. Samarth ordered the driver to rescue the girl and then throw the car in a backyard.After helping the boy, when Kavya goes to her office, she is shocked to find out that Samarth is her new boss. As soon as Samarth realizes this, he fires Kavya to take back revenge for the slap, also he tries his best to make Kavya’s life miserable by making her walk in the rain while coming back from a meeting, asking her to serve food to the guests like servants and scolding and forcing her to say sorry when a guest misbehaved with her.

On the other hand, Muskaan meets Sambhav who is Samrath’s nephew as she mistakenly starts up an expensive car parked outside Kavya’s office and is about to hit another car but Sambhav leaps in and saves her and the car from much damage, yet the car gets a little hurt and Sambhav asks Muskaan to pay for it. She disguises herself as a rich girl and claims she doesn't carry cash with her. She gives him a random card and tells him it is her dad's number. Later Sambhav finds out that she had lied as theguy doesn't even know Muskaan.

Destiny makes them see each other again in a phone shop, and Sambhav gathers all his guts and asks her out on a date. Muskaan, taking the advantage of the situation puts forward the demand of a phone He then buys her a phone but Muskaan leaves without even giving him an answer. When Muskaan is hiding from Samba, she inappropriately crashes into Samarth and Samarth instantly falls in love with Muskaan. Samarth at the very first sight falls deeply in love with Muskaan but Sambhav finally manages to impress Muskaan by taking her to restaurants and vacations on land he lies about owning. Samarth finally tests his nerves to the full and announces his love for Muskaan and ordered Bhairavi to the Prajapati household to propose on her brother's behalf.

Muskaan refuses his proposal, thinking that Sambhav is the owner of the entire wealth and. Samarth is devastated, traumatized and greatly upset with this decision of Muskaan. Then one day, Kavya and Kuhu were busy with the company records so, Muskaan helps them and stumbles on a familiar profile - that of her boyfriend Sambhav Birla - and Kavya tells her that he is just Samarth’s nephew that doesn't do any work and has no wealth of his own: he derives all his wealth from his uncle.

Upon realizing the truth, Muskaan breaks up her relationship with the dishonest and untruthful Sambhav and asks Samarth to marry her who ends up proposing to her in the side of a road. Muskaan says yes, and they both happily go back home where the priest tells them that the best date for the wedding is within three days.

They instantly start preparing, and Bhairavi calls her eldest son, Shrenik, over for the wedding. But just before the wedding, Muskaan elopes from her room through a cloth rope sent down from the balcony. Because of the shame caused by Muskaan, Bhairavi asks Kavya to marry Samarth. At first, Kavya says no, but after her grandma says that she will accept her if she marries Samarth, she says yes.
