Jonaki Kareng (2018) is an Assamese serial, produced under the banner of Aadishyam productions. It is a well-loved series of stories that are based on the works of a renowned Assamese writer. A panel of eminent directors has contributed to the series and all the characters have been well cast and portrayed. The plot can be summarised to exhibit family values and the tribulations of the extraordinary lives of the average person. Telecasted six times a week, 24 episodes spread over a month marks the end of a tale. The next month takes over a new plot, with fresh characters and a director.
