). Rudra is the son of the wealthy Hazarika family hailing from Guwahati. His father wants him to get married to an affluent family.
However, Rudra falls in love with Boroxa - headstrong and amiable yet financially not of his father's viable status. Boroxa has to look after her entire household. Though Rudra and Boroxa are in love and courting to get married, their parents are against their relationship. The entire story revolves around the protagonist and is a narration of the struggles she has to go through to live life on her terms.
