Ullam Kollai Poguthada is an Indian drama series broadcasted on the Polimer TV channel every Monday to Friday at 7:00 P.M. The show started premiering on December 10, 2012. This is a Tamil version of the series, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, changing the characters’ names. 

This serial tells about love after marriage and a story that is not destined by time, a story about two people who missed the enjoyment of life during their youth because of their families.

The storyline revolves around the life of Ram Kapoor and Priya. They both have a visible difference in their economic status. Their thought process does not match with each other. They get married for the sake of their younger siblings because Priya’s brother is in love with Ram’s sister.

After the marriage, Ram and Priya began to fall in love with each other. They got to know about the trouble between their siblings. Ram’s sister couldn’t adjust to the middle-class family. This situation led to an argument between Ram and Priya, but eventually, they fixed their relationship. Priya meets an accident, and everyone presumes her to be dead. She was alive and pregnant. This serial leaps for five years. Priya lives with her daughter, Pihu, in Dubai. Ram finds out about the Pihu on his visit to Dubai. Ram questions Priya for hiding the reality from him. He fights for the custody of his daughter. Eventually, Priya and Pihu return to India to live with Ram. Pihu meets her sisters, Myra and Pari. This serial leaps again for eight years. The children are grown up. Pihu becomes a spoilt child. She falls in love with Varun. Priya objects to this relationship as Varun’s father was a possible rival of Ram. Pihu develops resentment towards her mother. She accuses Varun of raping her. Priya finds out the truth and tries to make everything right. Varun commits suicide after Pihu’s betrayal. Pihu and Priya meet in an accident, and Priya goes into a coma.

This series leaps again for seven years. Juhi was taking care of the children in the absence of Priya. Priya gets well and returns to home. Juhi tries to separate Ram and Priya as she falls in love with Ram. Pihu falls in love with Samar. But Samar was cheating on her with Suhani. Priya finds out the truth and objects to the relationship. Despite all this, Pihu marries Samar. Suhani takes her revenge by killing Samar and accusing Ram. Priya proves Ram’s innocence, and Suhani gets arrested. The family learns about the real motives of Juhi, and she gets arrested for her deeds. The serial ends with the union of Ram and Priya.
