Sicario Teaser, Trailer & Video Songs
Denis Villeneuve, three-time winner of the Best Director award, is most known for his action/ thriller movies of which Sicario is one. In Mexico, Sicario translates to hitman and that is the basis for the entire film. It deals with busting a drug cartel but not everything goes to plan. Emily Blunt, plays the role of an idealistic FBI agent, named Kate Macer, who gets assigned to a task force to bring down the drug cartel. Benicio Del Toro, who plays the role of Alejandro, is a renowned actor known for his roles in Various action/thriller films.
The trailer portrays an action-packed crime thriller with an abundance of excitement, suspense, explosions, and dead bodies. Throughout the first part of the trailer, when things are not going to plan, the uneasiness and doubt felt by the protagonist transcends to the audience. The clips in the video are enthralling which is a testament to the actual movie. The action scenes are tasteful and the tension is high throughout the trailer without giving too much away. The use of both Spanish and English subtexts in the trailer signifies the real-life battle across the U. S and Mexican border.
The teaser portrays a realistic and gritty struggle against the crippling problem caused by drug trading. The editing and cinematography is top-notch and enhances the movie experience on the whole. The film was well received with high praises, and nominated for several awards including Best Cinematography, Best Original Score and Best Sound Editing.
