Plot
Chandrasekhar Rao is the present CM of Telangana. Nagappa, who dreams of becoming the CM, plans to assassinate Chandrasekhar. At the same time, his son, who goes to the Nallamalla forest, goes missing. While investigating, it is found that Ustaad Bhagat Singh is the reason for his disappearance. Why did Bhagat Singh do this? What’s the relationship between Bhagat Singh and Nagappa? The rest of the film showcases these.
Star Performance
Pawan’s performance is stylish as usual. He is excellent in the action sequences. His dialogue delivery style is fantastic, and his comedy, too, lands well. Parthiepan’s performance is quite decent. Despite his character being a bit weak, he impresses with his strong screen presence. His face-off scenes with PK are fine. KS Ravikumar is neat in his role. Sree Leela is okay with her performance. Raashi Khanna, Gautami, and Rao Ramesh are just present.
Analysis
The film has a simple story with strong action sequences. Pawan Kalyan’s role is solid and well-written. However, the rest of the supporting cast didn’t have strong roles, including Parthiepan’s Nagappa, the antagonist. Gautami, Raashi, and Rao Ramesh are not given strong roles, and they just fill the space. Sree Leela is okay, but she got the usual template heroine role. The action and dance choreographies are fine. Ee Manase is an excellent treat for PSPK’s fans. As the film has a familiar storyline, the narrative is easily predictable. Despite concentrating on the screenplay, the director and his team prioritized buildups. Although it appeals well to ardent fans, the general public expects something beyond that. The first half is stretchy, but the second half is okay. Although the BGM is good, it is repetitive. The visuals are okay. The editing could’ve been better.
