is a small-budget Telugu devotional film. Let’ see how what the movie is all about.
Plot
The movie centres around Thimmamamba Marima’s life, and it is set in the backdrop of Kadiri. A banyan tree, which is 600 years’ old in life, and holds a Guinness record (it also goes over 7 acres) is the crux of the film. Sathi Thimmamamba belongs to the family of Shri Krishnadevaraya, an acclaimed emperor.
Analysis
Since this is a devotional movie the performance of the stars is not a major concern with the concept being the king here. Bhavya Sri and Sri Venkat have acted in main roles in this film, and the supporting cast includes Chandra Mohan, Prabhakar, Ranganath, etc.
Balagonda Anjaneyulu has directed this historic movie. He should be appreciated to bring out a film that is rich in Telugu history. In fact, films that talk about the culture of Andhra should be made on a frequent basis so that the current generation gets to know their rich culture. Rudhramadevi is one such film that talked about Telugu culture. And now Sathi Thimmamamba touches the Telugu culture.
Verdict
The entire team deserves appreciation for working in a movie that talks about the Telugu heritage.
