Plot
Krishnakumar is a lecturer. He has two sons and a daughter. His daughter is getting ready for her marriage. One of his sons is an alcoholic, and the other is searching for a job. Besides their family’s ups and downs in normal life, they have a family secret, which gets revealed in a crucial situation. What’s the secret? How will it affect Krishna’s family? The rest of the film discusses their family secret and Krishna’s efforts to handle all the issues.
Star Performance
Raja Ravindra plays the lead and emotes well in complicated situations. He is so natural in his role. Neelapriya is apt for this role. Moin and Mohit did their jobs well. Yashaswini did what was required. Srikanth Iyengar and Shivakumar did justice to the given roles.
Analysis
The film brings a new concept that is rarely touched in Indian cinema. Though there are a lot of films speaking about the transgender community, this one is a bit different. However, the writing is not so good, and an essential grip is missing in the screenplay. The first half is a normal family drama that follows the unwritten rules of the predecessors. The second half started well, but the last portions spoiled the tension built at the beginning. Though a few characters are designed well, some need a little more depth. The visuals are average, and the editing is okay. The BGM is decent.
