Aatagallu” is the movie scripted and directed by Paruchuri Murali. The film is produced by Vaasireddy Ravindra, Vaasireddy Sivaji and Vaddapudi Jeetendra. Sai Karthik composed the music and Vijay C Kumar is a cinematographer and Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor. The movie has the star cast of Nara Rohit, Darshana Banik and Jagapati Babu in the lead roles. The film also has the supporting cast of “ Subbaraju” and “ Brahmanandam.”

Siddharth is a popular movie director and his wife is murdered. The cops suspect Siddharth for the murder and arrest him. Virendra, the public prosecutor appears for Siddharth and set him free from the case. In fact, it is Virendra who finds out the murder mystery all by himself and get to know about the great setup behind the murder. How did Virendra find it out? Watch the film in theatres!

Start Performance

Jagapati Babu had played a wonderful role as a popular advocate and his argument scenes are pretty nice and it gets appreciation from the audiences. Nara Rohit has done justice to his role and Subbaraju too. Darshana who makes her debut with this movie had done what is needed for a role.

The director has designed the screenplay really well and the scenes between Jagapati Babu and Nara Rohit are well planned. The production value of the film is quite ok, but some of the scenes seem to be a bit outdated. The film is not technically sound as the music and editing are not good at all. The narration by Murali is not much impressive and the comedy portions by Brahmanandam didn’t attract.

What's There?

  • The performance of the stars

What's Not There?

  • The film is not technically sound as the music and editing sucks
  • Murali’s narration is unimpressive

Aatagallu seems to be an outdated story that we have seen a lot of times. However, the film is interesting to watch only for the performances of the lead stars and Subbaraju’s negative role. If you have no movies to watch this weekend, then you could try this!
