21st Century love is yet another story about love set in the 21st century. It tells how young generation falls in love but do not know about its consequences.

Plot: The script starts when Balu, who has huge respect for his father, falls in love with a girl Priya who happens to be her intermediate classmate. He tells his father about his love and his father calmly told him to wait and realize whether it is true love or just the mere attraction. Balu’s father advises him not to rush things and like an obedient son he listens to his father’s advises and challenges Priya to a condition to prove their true love. What is the condition that Balu puts in front of Priya? Will Priya accept that task? What will be the end of their story with due course of time? Thus this makes up the rest of the plot of the movie.

Analysis: The director of the film Gopinath, who happens to be playing the lead role in the flick, has tried everything to please the audience but fails in his attempt. The music of the picture is also not good and so is the editing. Although he wanted to show a good story but it seems he got confused with too many subdivisions.

Star Performances: Although the lead pair Gopinath and Vishnu Priya’s acting is average but the chemistry between the two is good. It doesn’t look like that it is artificial and seeks to the people as the acting is done by the professionals. Their emotions and the effects felt as if they are natural and thus is liked by the audience.

What’s there?

1. The makers wanted to convey a message and they are successful in doing so.

2. The acting of the lead actress is good and adds charm to the film.

3. There are many comic scenes in the picture and thus the spectators do not feel bored.

4. The scenes shot between the couple are great.

What’s not there?

1. The story is predictable and routine.

2. The performance by the supporting cast is not at all up to the mark.

3. Although the message conveyed is good but not executed properly.

Verdict: 21st century love is about a love story of modern times, and whenever one tries to show this theme in their film they should try not to make the audience feel bored for even a single moment. They should execute it in such a way that people relate to it and enjoy it. Thus it can be watched once just for the sake of watching it.
