Plot
A farmer who doesn’t want his son to carry out his farming job wishes him to study well and settle in the city. As per his wish, his son studies well and gets a good job in the city and settles there. After his marriage, his visit to the village to meet his parents lessens. After years, the farmer regrets his decision of making his son settle in the city. Will his late regret bring anything useful to his life?
Star Performance
Bose Venkat and Sriranjani did their part well. Ilavarasu has given a good performance. His explanation about the natural manure is an eye-opener. Sangili Murugan appeared in a small role and did what was required of him. Suzane’s performance appears to be over the top at times.
Analysis
The script has nothing new. There are no twists and turns in the story, and it is easily predictable. We can’t avoid the serial feel, not only because of the serial artists’ presence in a huge number, but for the making. Many serials in this era look like high-budget movies, this film looks like an old-era serial. The dialogue given to Ilavarasu is good. Bose Venkat’s dialogue is proof of how most people want their children to leave their native and settle in the city with all the luxuries. Though the message is right, the film appears more of an artificial drama.
