Plot
The Sri Lankan Tamils conflict for a separate state in Sri Lanka ended in 2009, leaving a huge destruction and loss. More than a million people were killed, and half a million Tamils ended up houseless. They had to take refuge in Camps. Among the millions, Sundaram lost his wife in the war. She was pregnant. Kasthuri lost her husband. A teenager lost her entire family in the bombardment. After a few years, these three people returned to their native villages. How do they start their lives? What are the challenges their community forces on them to face? All these form the rest of the story.
Star Performance
The actors have performed well. Puthiyavan Rasiah’s expressions are pretty decent and Navayuga emotes well.
Analysis
The film speaks about some heart-breaking happenings in the Civil War. The director tried to portray how the Tamils suffered during the war. Though the runtime is less, the audience may feel that some scenes are dragged. Though the idea is okay, the execution lacks the grip. The dialogues are strong, but the director didn’t complete the sequences with clarity. As there are only a few characters involved in the film, it helps the audience to get into the story easily. The issue is the dialect used. As it is a Sri Lankan Tamil dialect, many words are not understandable by the audience. The making makes us feel it is neither a documentary nor a feature film.

Verdict
The film showcases the challenges faced by the Sri Lankan Tamils within their community and how they suffered during the war. Despite the flaws, including dialect issues, it can be watched once if you are interested in seeing a war movie with after-effects!
