Guna is an astrologer, who predicts with his bull. Once the village head warns Guna to stop predicting, as his prediction had gone wrong. Following this Guna moves out of the village with the broken heart. He goes to the next village, where he sees Kavya, a flower vendor. Both of them fall for each other. But Kavya's mother is against their love and she started seeking a good alliance for Kavya. But Kavya denies getting married to anyone except for Guna. So, Kavya's mother comes forth with a new condition and that is Guna should stop his prediction job and do some other business. Did Guna accept this condition? What happened to their love? Watch the movie to know the rest.

Star Performance

Guna is very natural with his performance and his bonding with his bull is neatly shown. Kavya fits well in the role and had given a decent performance.

Director Ganesh moves the story with a fast screenplay. He had inserted the village customs and it is good to watch. But, the duet song seems to be forcibly inserted and it is a hurdle to the movie. The music is not much impressive, but the background score is good cinematography by Jayan is pretty decent.

What's There?

  • Performance of the stars is good

What's Not There?

  • Forcibly inserted songs
  • Certain scenes are not gripping

The director has brought a village set up in front of the eyes. Although the screenplay is fast, certain scenes seem to have missed out on some engaging elements. However, the performance of the stars is okayish. If you want to watch a rural subject with a different story, you could try this! Kayiru – watchable once.
