Plot
An aspiring director from a village who wants to make a movie seeks help from his family and friends. How they all work together to make a movie with less equipment and without any latest technology is what the story reveals.
Star Performance
All the commoners turned actors for this film and they did what they could.
Analysis
Rajkumar directed the film Vengayam. This time, he took the making of the film as his script and worked out hard. The characters played by the village people are so natural, and the efforts made by the entire team is undeniably appreciable. The concept is good, and the execution is decent. But something gripping is missing. The kitchen utensils and farming equipment become the movie-making tools, and that make the audience excite and laugh. The audience will enjoy the comical dialogue by the grannies. They exclaim while speaking about the budget, stars, future, etc. Those scenes are really good. Though the comedy scenes are good in some occasions, a few are testing us. Sathyaraj and Cheran are used to promote, and it definitely worked. The BGM is quite decent, and the visuals are good. The editing is okay. It is the director’s part to have made certain scenes a bit more interesting.
