Ratheesh Reghunandan was born in Punalur, Kerala, India. He is one of the most renowned Writer-Director of the Malayalam Film Industry. Ratheesh has completed his schooling from GDHS school, Kerala, and Graduated from IGNOU. Ratheesh started his career as a Journalist at Amrita TV. In 2013, he worked as a Radio Jockey at Radio Asia 947FM. Ratheesh's interest in writing brought him to the film industry, where he wrote magnificent stories and Directed many appreciating movies. The movie Miitayi Theruvu was his first movie as a director in the year 2018. His most remarkable movie for which he has given Direction and wrote the Story was Udal, released in 2022. Ratheesh's recently released movie was Thankamani in 2023.
