Plot
Ravi Anna is a bachelor in the town. SatishAnna is his right hand. Ashoka is the son of Ramesh Anna. He is in love with a girl. He wants to propose his love to her by passing his love notes to her during a funeral. After passing it, he entered the ritual room to check if she had sent any messages to his mobile. Soon, it is rumoured that Ashoka is possessed by a ghost. A rumour about the spirit of Sulochana makes the rounds in the town. Bhanu, the daughter of Sulochana, has been fighting for her life. Will Ashoka get himself untied from these rumours? Will Bhanu’s problems be solved?
Star Performance
Shaneel Gautham, Sandhya Arekere, and J.P. Thuminad are the show stealers. They impress us with comical and emotional performances. Raj B. Shetty’s cameo is a surprise.
Analysis
The story starts as a humorous one, but later shifts its genre to a social setting with a strong message. The director deserves appreciation for blending the genres well. The comedy, romance, blind beliefs, and horror are mixed well, and we are provided with a good entertainer to enjoy two hours without any interruption. Although the second half moves towards a serious and emotional tone, the director didn’t give up the comedy. The first half relies on slapstick comedy, and the second half is mixed with emotion and humour. Ashoka’s transformation is one of the highlights of the film. There are some small characters appearing here and there. Though they didn’t have long screen time, they are impactful. Each character is written with the needed depth. The actors fit perfectly into their roles and made the film appealing.
