Another horror movie with a nice story.

is a story about six youths saving themselves from death. The six of them, local residents going on a trip, are thrashed into the jungle by a ghost. The ghost, which is all powerful and strong in might and strength, gives them a run for their life. All of them are baffled to see such a sight and are unable to see each other die one by one. The remaining cumulate all their strength to combat the ghost and kill him. The story goes on depicting their journey to save themselves. And more importantly, who amongst them will fall the next prey to the ghost, who is on a murderous drive.
Analysis: The story is a fifty-fifty in first and second half. The plot, although ordinary, could have been built in a better way or have a better execution. The story leaves a series of unanswered questions along with some poor performances, which distracts the viewer from the suspense. Any horror movie requires good music in the background, which is indeed missing in the movie. All in all, the movie also leaves the audience wondering with a weird climax and is quite unexpected.
Star performances: The film portrays a number of newcomers and new actors as well.

and Harish, have played their roles decently. Susai Kumar, Riya Devadiga, Sinchana, Kavya and Raju G.S as supporting actors have also done justice to their roles. However, the cast, on the whole, is unable to deliver a strong performance and have let down the movie. The elements of horror or suspense are seldom to be seen.
What’s there?
1. The movie has a gripping script with a decent background score.
2. Acting, by far, is decent and is there to thrill you.
3. The climax of the movie is full of twists and turns, leaving the audience in awe.
What’s not there?
1. The movie, on the whole, fails to make its mark certainly because of the cast and background music.
2. There is not much of a build up as to how only these get drawn in the forest by the ghost.
Verdict: The movie Sakkath Risk has little pockets of suspense and horror but fails to make a good impact.
