The movie deals with the importance of Kannada medium Government schools. How people go crazy over the International schools and English medium schools and omit Kannada medium is the core theme of the movie.

Star Performance

Jaggesh had performed excellently well; especially in the first half. His timely comedy and his body language is perfect for the role and he attracts the audiences. Meghana has done justice to the given role. The kids who played the students are cute.

Although there are lot of movies that have been concentrating on the Kannada medium, this movie is pretty different. Jaggesh is an apt choice for the role and he fit in the role perfectly and delivered what the director expected. The first half is excellent and the second half is a bit dramatic. The movie has raised a lot of questions and left it to the parents who want their children to go to International schools. The production and technical values of the movie are good. The cinematography is perfect and BGM gels well with the script.

What's There?

  • Script screenplay and performance are good
  • Jaggesh is the right choice and he has done justice to the given role

What's Not There?

  • The second half is a bit dramatic

This is an interesting movie for the people who love and encourage Kannada medium and it will be an eye opener for the people who omit Kannada medium. Overall, Kalidasa Kannada Meshtru is a good movie to watch this weekend!
