Plot
Nasir runs a video parlour in Malegaon. As his parlour was shut for showing pirated films, Nasir decided to make a film on his own to entertain his Malegaon people. He approached his friend, Farokh, who writes for a local newspaper, and gave him the responsibility to write a script. He wanted to make a murder mystery thriller and wanted his friend to write a spoof on Sholay, the super hit film. Jai, Thaur, Veeru, and Basmati join the movie. But, a small misunderstanding led them to split. After they heard that one of them had a severe medical issue, they put down their differences and joined to make an original movie. Were they successful? The rest of the film speaks about this.
Star Performance
Adarsh Gourav, Vineet Kumar Singh, and Shashank have done a fantastic job. Manjiri Pupala has given a decent performance.
Analysis
The film is fast-paced and there are no stretchy scenes. All the characters are penned with perfection and enough depth, and the actors fit well and have done their job pretty well. The film didn’t mock anyone or didn’t spoof anything. It showcases rural movie-making from a different perception. The direction, screenplay, performances, and the production values are neat.
