Plot:
Jessica is a young girl who does the job of a bartender. At a party, she is shot dead by a spoilt brat of an influential minister when she refused him to serve drinks. Jessica’s sister takes it on her to get her justice.
Analysis:
This is a movie which is based and is inspired by true set of events which is of a girl who was shot dead and the investigation that was followed by her sister who wanted justice. Rajkumar has used this topic in a wonderful way to comment critically on the rich spoilt brats who can never take a no for an answer and their powerful dads who will do everything in their power to save their accused sons. It also throws light on the biased judicial system of India, who let go of the rich and the powerful.
Star Performances:
Vidya Balan is at her natural best. She looks effortless in her role, and one can really relate to her when she goes on in the hunt for justice and the various abuses and mental traumas she has to go through in that process. Rani Mukherjee is strong and fearless in her portrayal of a journalist. She is poised in her role and completely does justice to her fairly important role. The other actors, including the rich spoilt murderer, are believable and interestingly etched out.

● It may seem a bit too overdramatized at some point of time to make it entertaining for the audience.
Verdict:
This one is a definite watch mostly because it handled the case fairly well and will lead you to some introspection too.
