Farooq Sheikh is a legendary actor, a television presenter and a philanthropist. He was born on March 25, 1948 in Amroli, in the district of Surat, Gujarat. He is the eldest son of Mustafa and Farida Sheikh, who are both Muslim. Farooq studied at St. Mary’s School in Mumbai and later attended in St. Xavier College.
