Plot
Jaya, aka Jerry, and Chhaya, aka Cherry, are sisters. They live with their mother in a small town in Punjab. Jerry works in a massage parlour. Their neighbour Anil, who has feelings for Jerry’s mother, always supports them and acts as a father figure for them. Although Jerry’s mother is not comfortable with Jerry’s job, they need a source of income to lead their life. One day, Jerry’s mother falls ill. It is diagnosed to be a cancer, and they need Rs 25 lakh for treatment. Timmy, a smuggler, kidnaps Cherry and asks Jerry to bring a drug kept inside the market without the police’s knowledge. As Cherry is kept as a hostage, Jerry does this. An idea flashes in her mind, and she decides to seek help from Timmy for her mother’s treatment. What happened next? Did she escape from the police while working for the drug mafia? The rest of the story deals with this.
Star Performance
Janhvi did her best as Jerry. Her body language and dialogue delivery are fine. Usually, if a film is remade, it will be compared to the original version. Janhvi tried to match “

” in her style. All the characters have done what was required.
Analysis
The director has made some changes to the script, as per Bollywood sensibilities. Almost all the characters are written well, and they serve their purpose well. Jerry’s character is written with a theme. She won’t showcase her feelings to anyone easily. She knows how to react for different situations. Janhvi did this with ease. The dark comedy worked out well. The songs and the BGM gel well with the script and the scenes. However, the length should’ve been trimmed to make it a crispy movie.
