Vikrant Massey & Deepak Dobriyal Starrer To Stream On This OTT Platform

Even though it will be released directly on OTT, two of the finest talents of the country will face each other. Titled ‘Sector 36’, the movie is also the directorial debut of Aditya Nimbalkar Aditya Nimbalkar is a Hindi assistant director and >> Read More... . The movie is bankrolled by Jio Studios, and will be releasing on Netflix by 13 September.

‘Sector 36’ is loosely based on the dark story of Nithari village. In late 2006, several children from the village of Nithari in Greater Noida disappeared, one by one. Vikrant Massey’s character is loosely inspired from Surendra Koli, the house help of Moninder Singh Pandher, and the main killer involved in this racket. On the other hand, Deepak Dobriyal is playing the role of a no nonsense cop, who is investigating this case.

‘Sector 36’ is probably Vikrant Massey’s first full fledged attempt at a negative role, even though he attempted twice with similar roles in ‘Lipstick under my Burkha’ and ‘Gaslight’.  

On the other hand, Deepak Dobriyal will be making his debut as a cop with this movie.
