Plot

12-year-old Anay dies in an accident after witnessing his neighbor’s murder. After 25 years, a nurse named Antara shifts to Anay’s house with her husband. One stormy night, Anay communicates with Antara via TV. In this process, Antara loses her reality and gets into the past events to save Anay. What happens next? The rest of the film deals with it.

Star Performance

Taapsee’s performance is good as usual. Pavail has done an excellent job. The rest of the cast did justice to the assigned roles.

Analysis

The makers have just adapted and remade the story to suit Indian sensibilities. For a good script, execution and performances are much important. The team has handpicked the stars, and the director has done a decent execution. The artwork was not up to the mark in certain places. Songs seem to be forcedly inserted.

What’s There?

• The performances of the stars are good
• The script and execution are excellent
• The cinematography and the BGM are quite decent

What’s Not There?

• The production designs could’ve been better

Verdict

Though the film has some minus points here and there, it did justice to the story with the neat direction and excellent performances. Dobaaraa –watchable once!
