The script for the movie was also designed by Harmony Korine. The movie scenes have been shot on VHS home video. The movie plot revolves around two old-looking people residing in Nashville, which is situated in Tennessee. There is no narration in the movie, and creepy things happen on the screen that is meant to be spine-chilling.

Plot: The plot opens with three senior citizens doing rotten and ugly stuff. The elders tamper with dolls, go for intercourse with animals, and push their ways into dustbins. In one of the scenes in the movie, the camera eyes are upon a derelict toilet found in a field. And something bizarre happens, thanks to the filming by Harmony Korine. The movie shows disgusting and nasty things that the audiences do not dare to view. For lovers of the director’s movies, it might be appealing, but for somebody new, it causes nausea right from the moment the movie unfolds.

The movie has been shot in a manner that provokes doubt as to whether somebody stepped upon an amateurish home video. The intention behind the tape was to make home videos of spooky senior citizens. The characters are played by the director and his associates. They put on some obnoxious masks and loiter around causing trouble. There is no underlying storyline in the movie, and there is no continuity between the scenes. The perverted elderly people do things that leave audiences writhing with agony on their seats.

The movie’s director seems to have assumed that there is cultural significance in the movie. But, does it mean that all of the American audiences and other country audiences resemble Trash Humpers?

The director has not made onscreen appearances often. But, in the movie Trash Humpers, he comes in the climax relating the pain in such people.Director Harmony, do not you feel that the audiences are not in harmony with such a movie?

Verdict: The movie ‘Trash Humpers’ should go to the trash straight away.
