Plot: Decepticons are the robots that once endangered the life on earth. Sam Witwicky and his Autobot colleagues saved the Earth from the dangerous robots. The movie also reveals another robot Optimus Prime working with robots Autobots to make Earth their permanent residence. A very ancient Decepticon named The Fallen rises from the ashes to take revenge. Now, it is left to Sam and his friend Mikaela to explore the roots of the Transformers such that the extraterrestrial robot The Fallen is defeated forever.
If one is a youth or if he has a youthful mind, the movie could be enjoyed. But, imagining myself as a youngster, I cannot comprehend the movie. The movie seems to avenge the critics more than the extraterrestrial in it. The sound effects are of a very high decibel, and it is not good to one’s cochlea. The original movie had some battles for no rhyme or reason. The sequel happens to have a storyline that has the least rhyme and reason behind it. The audiences need to ignore the story and try to find some fun in the movie. Else, you as an audience would need to rush to the theater’s exit. There is, of course, sporadic fun in the movie which the bad storyline bogs down.
Verdict:Â Before getting a ticket for the movie, one should be forewarned that the sound decibels are too high that there are chances of turning deaf. The movie will not appeal to a majority of the elderly citizens.
