Analysis
Supremely well-written script. co-written by Abu-Assa and Sameh Zoabi and we have to admit that they have really done a very good job with the story. The script goes smoothly and perfectly shows the struggles of Mohammad during his adulthood. The cinematography is at some different level. Some of the scenes are shot very beautifully that you can’t ignore it. The commitment of Mohammad, his belief is really going to inspire a lot of people out there.
Star Performance
The character of Nour can’t be ignored, she has done a fabulous job. Where the unexpected highlight you can say was Hiba Allah as a talented child actress. And how can you ignore the lead one-Abu Assad who has an absolutely superb job?
What’s There
1. Purely motivational which follows the old policy of “Broken at streets to Stardom at a city” and it would leave you spellbound.
2. Solid feels of biography, passion, hard work.
3. Crisp cinematography and outstanding script with clichés are waiting for you in the movie...
What’s Not There
1. The movie loses its energy gradually until the final show.
2. The movie doesn’t tell you the full context for the importance of Mohammad’s public participation in the competition.
3. The refugee thing is not presented perfectly; it doesn’t seem practical at all as a comparison to the happenings occurs out there in Palestine.
4. The timid approach about the trip of Gaza is a little disappointment if you think about the director.
5. Enjoyment level decreases when Mohammad grows up.
Verdict
The movie is a biopic and it is best in its category of genre. SO biopic lovers, motivational story lovers here again a treat comes for you.
