MORE CAST & CREW
It‘s very normal, teens who are rich searching for rescue in Los Angles by Hollywood rehab. The dramatic and very sensitive role played by Rob Reiner shows you about the teens, self-destruction of themselves and their parents. Following that it also creates a little bit sympathy, sometimes shows love between the teen and his parents.
Plot
Charlie turns 18 who is a very rich boy because he belongs to a very rich family. On his 18th birthday, he goes out for a rehab service and turns for Utah. He is such a strong-minded boy that he can walk out for rehab and no one can stop him. Somehow his parents couldn’t state a legal talk to stop him and he walked out. None at the facility tried to stop Charlie also. While leaving Charlie picks up a stone and harshly throws it to the taunted glass window of his house out of anger, breaks it, turns the relationship between him and his father a little complicated.
Analysis
‘Being Charlie’ looks dragging when it begins and it also seems boring while you go through the mid-segment of the movie. It’s very much predictable as they haven’t tried anything new about the topic of a drug addiction of a rich kid which is totally not new or fresh. Somehow his sarcastic behavior or humour may keep you stuck but there is nothing to stay connected with the movie. Somehow the screenplay doesn’t keep a matching with the script and “Being Charlie” fails to throw the magic.
