Plot

A serial killer, named himself as Riddler kills the Mayor of Gotham City. It happened on a Halloween day. Bruce Wayne, a billionaire, had been working in the city, started investigating the murder case with the help of the police department. Soon, James Gordon, the lieutenant finds out that the murderer has left a message for Batman. When he informs Pete Savage, The Police Commissioner, he scolds him for allowing Batman to be involved in the case and denies passing the message. But, the Riddler kills the Commissioner and leaves one more message to the Batman. During their investigation, the Batman and Gordon find out that the murderer had left a pen drive in the Mayor’s car. It has many images, and in one of the pictures, the Mayor was seen with a woman in a nightclub run by Penguin, a supporter of the mobster Carmine Falcone. While the inquiry continues, Riddler kidnaps the district attorney and ties a bomb in his neck. He sends him to the funeral place of the Gotham City Mayor. What happens next? Did he make the bomb blast and kill the people? Why did he kill the Mayor and the Commissioner? The rest of the film deals with it.

Star Performance

Robert Pattinson has done a fantastic job. He looks so cool, and his energetic performance and body language are impressive. Zoe Kravitz, Paul Dano, and Jeffrey Wright excelled well in their roles. The rest of the cast performed as per the requirement.

Analysis

The script is not something different but was made to attract superhero movie lovers. The director enters the plot quickly, and the screenplay is racy right from the beginning. The investigation scenes are well-shot and the cinematography is fantastic. The camera travels with the characters, and the audience feels as if they are crossing the characters' paths. The BGM and editing are good too. The CG works are impressive.
