Star performances
None of the characters got proper attention of the writer. All actors did nothing except screaming loud. The performance of Tom Felton and Ashley Greene is good. Except them, no one has done a good job.
Analysis
There is nothing in this film which can scare the audience. The director Todd Linkon was not sure what he willing to show. It is an attempt of scaring people with the fluctuating sound played during the film. It can be called a haunted drama.
What’s there?
1. Great background scores which make the film a little bit scary.
2. Daniel Pearl’s cinematography is appreciable.
What’s not there?
1. The film has very poor screenplay and direction
2. Undeveloped characters.
3. Horror scenes looked childish.
4. Lots of scenes are unrelated to the story.
Verdict
If you like cinema where ghost and spirits have involvement, then you can watch the film.
