Plot

Tessa Young and Hardin Scott are classmates. While Tessa is a girl-next-door, who has ambitions to achieve and wants to be a good daughter too, Hardin is just her opposite. But, they started to share a good bonding. When they get a feeling that their characters don’t match, what would happen? Would they be able to get back to a normal life? Watch the film in theaters!

Star Performance

Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Josephine Langford had played their roles perfectly. Their chemistry is good. Although Selma Blair had got just a few scenes, she had done her best. Rest of the cast had done justice to the given roles.

Analysis

The script is not much impressive. The screenplay looks a bit interesting but slow. The romance scenes are written romantically and it attracts the audiences. But, the intense scenes are a bit extra and it should have been reduced. The casting team had taken a huge effort to place the right stars in the film. The stars had also done justice to their roles given. But, the college atmosphere is not impressive. The film shows some stereotyped characters which make the audiences feel bored. The BGM is quite good and it gels well in the romance scenes.

What’s There?

  • Performance of the stars are quite okayish
  • BGM is good
  • The screenplay is good

What’s Not There?

  • Narration is good, yet it is slow paced
  • Intense scenes between the leads should have been minimized

Verdict

The film has all the emotions in it including love, breakup, sentiment, etc. If you love to watch a campus romantic movie, then you might like to watch it!
