Unlike regular pet and road movies, this film carries more emotions. Channing Tatum's directorial debut hyped up the expectations, and the star satisfied the critics and audience with his directorial film in partnership with Reid. Though some sequences are predictable, the way they were filmed is interesting. The screenplay and execution are pretty decent. The cinematography is excellent with wide-angle and aerial shots.
