Plot
The documentary deals with all the sides of Maradona. Right from his childhood to the issues, which he stuck with his illegitimate son are shown in this biopic. Watch the film to know about the legendary footballer's other side.Â
Analysis
Asif Kapadia has collected a lot of footage of Maradona. The film doesn’t showcase only the positive side of Maradona, but the controversies he faced too. Maradona’s childhood had also been showed off well, with his bonding towards his mother. How did he enter the football and which made him passionate about the sport is shown. His positives and negatives in the game are also visible. The colorful life of Maradona is neatly explained with the footages. The director didn’t have the formal interviews with the star but brought his life history alive in front of the audiences.
