‘ Crooked Arrows’ is a predictable sports drama movie, which is directed by Steve Rash, and stars Tyler Hill, Brandon Routh and Chelsea Ricketts. Starting as a normal sports drama, this movie takes a lot of twists and turns, although they are very predictable.
A Native-American wants to expand his casino, which is associated with his father. However, his father will let him do so only if he coaches a school team, and leads them to victory against another school. He was himself a player when he was a teenage, therefore he had the experience. In the process, he becomes closer to his father, rekindles with his high-school love, and becomes attached to his little sister.
Crooked Arrows is a very predictable movie. You get absolutely no surprises while watching it, and it gets boring. The only relief, for some, is the scenes where Tyler Hill takes his shirt off!
The cast has tried its best to make the usual roles look unusual, and the director has done his part in trying to make the movie better. Nevertheless, due to the not-so-different script, there is nothing extraordinary in the film.
With some scenes of violence, the movie might give you some thrill. But overall, it is not an erratic movie.
