Venkatesh is the versatile actor of the Telugu cine field. He has made his debut in singing. This happens to be the first time in three decades that Venkatesh is doing a number. The movie has been titled Guru, which happens to be a sports drama. Venkatesh said that he enjoyed singing for the movie, although he doubted his ability when taking up the number. The music for the number that is sung by Venkatesh is by music composer Santhosh Narayanan.
Venkatesh spoke to the media, and he said that he was acting for more than 30 years, and he wondered why he should do a number at this juncture. But, as Venkatesh heard the tune, he got interested and decided to sing. He also added that he enjoyed singing thoroughly. In the movie, Venkatesh does the role of a boxing coach.
