‘Manamey’ Finally Streams On This OTT Platform

Almost a year after its theatrical run, Sharwanand’s ‘Manamey’ has received an OTT platform. The romantic drama is currently streaming on ‘Amazon Prime Video’.

Written and directed by Sriram Adittya, ‘Manamey’ stars Sharwanand, Krithi Shetty Krithi Shetty is an actress born on 21st September >> Read More... and Vikram Adittya in the lead roles. The movie revolves Vikram and Subhadra, two completely different personalities who are forced to become the foster parents of an orphan.

The movie was released on 7 June 2024, a week ahead of movies like ‘Chandu Champion’, ‘Maharaj’ etc. However, despite the odds against them, ‘Manamey’ managed to make a mark of its own, earning 21.85 crores worldwide and becoming a moderate commercial success.

With this success, Sharwanand joined the club of the chosen few who had managed to succeed against all odds to make 2024 a better year for Tollywood. His last theatrical release was ‘Oke Oka Jeevitham’, a time travel comedy drama which became a surprise hit, ending his streak of flops since 2019. Despite this record, Sharwanand’s ‘Manamey’ had to wait for almost a year to secure an OTT release.

Sharwanand is currently focusing on multiple projects. While one of them is a romantic comedy directed by Ram Abbaraju, the other is a sports drama directed by Abhilash Kankara.
