Will Mahavtar Narsimha Cross 300 Crores?

Will Mahavtar Narsimha add another feather to their cap? It seems so.

According to the recent reports, the devotional animated drama has crossed a mind boggling figure of more than 270 crores worldwide, with nearly 200 crores coming from the Hindi version itself. For a film made on a budget of less than 20 crores, this is nothing less than phenomenal.

It would be interesting to see if Mahavtar Narsimha enters the 300 crore club or not, and it is perfectly possible? This is because War 2 has failed to entertain the audiences throughout India, and will end up with a lifetime collection of just 200 to 250 crores at the domestic box office. Since there is no major competition until September 5, Mahavtar Narsimha can end up with a lifetime collection of more than 300 crores as well!

The film stood against films like Saiyaara, Coolie, and even English movies like F1, Superman etc. to emerge as the highest grossing animated movie in the history of Indian cinema. Directed by Ashwin Kumar, and bankrolled jointly by Vijay Kirgandur’s Hombale Movies, the movie is a part of the devotional multiverse titled Mahavtar Cinematic Universe, whose next instalment would be Mahavtar Narsimha.
