Deepika Padukone, who wrapped her Hollywood debut film, “XXX: The Return of Xander Cage” with Vin Diesel, returned India. When she was approached to play the female lead in “Tube Light” with Salman Khan, the actress turned down the offer. Already, she rejected two Salman films, “Kick” and “Sultan.” So, Salman is angry on Deepika. Deepika has been trying to meet Salman Khan, after returning from Hollywood. But, Salman refused to give her an appointment to meet him. It is heard that when Deepika was approached for Tube Light, she asked the director Kabir Khan to alter her portions in the script and wanted to get a role equal to Salman Khan and never wanted to be an eye candy like any other heroines. As Kabir Khan was not ready to alter the script, Deepika rejected the offer. As she rejected it, Salman is pissed off with her. If she gets an opportunity to meet Salman at his residence, she will definitely cool him, says the insiders.
