What? Shah Rukh Khan Avoided Padmavati?

It was earlier said that Salman Khan would be pairing Deepika Padukone in her next film, “Padmavati,” a historical story. Right from the announcement, except the titular role Padmavati by Deepika and Alauddin Khilji by Ranveer Singh, everything had been in confusion. Now, it is finalised that the film has three major leads including Shahid Kapoor as Deepika’s pair. A few weeks ago, after Shah Rukh denied doing the film, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is said to have approached Hrithik Roshan. As he didn’t respond, the role has been transferred to Shahid. Shahid plays Raja Rawal Ratan in this flick. It was said that to avoid playing in Padmavati, SRK doubled his fees, when contacted, says a source. As the role has less importance to him, SRK was unwilling to play, says a report.
