, and Richa Chadha. Sarbjit is based on the story of an Indian farmer who was mistaken for a Pakistani spy by officials and sentenced to death.
The story shows Aishwarya playing the role of Randeep's sister who is fighting the battle for justice for her brother in jail. Randeep has changed himself to fit completely into the role and hopefully it does pay off. Richa Chadha will be playing his love life and a song starring the pair has been released.
In the actual story, Sarbjit died in Lahore hospital in May 2013 after attacked by his fellow inmates.
