Sakshi In Anil Kapoor’s 24!

Anil Kapoor has been playing the Anti-Terrorist Squad chief in “24.” The team was on a hunt for the female leads for the series. After filtering many entries, the casting director Anil has shortlisted two ladies, “Tabu” and Sakshi Tanwar. Sakshi was working as Aamir Khan’s wife in “Dangal” during the final selection of 24. Although it was tough to select the female lead, the creative team picked Sakshi. Sakshi was selected for the reason she said. Yes, when Tabu came just for earning, Sakshi said that she loved the role, as it is different from that of her previous works. She also said that she hasn’t done the cop role before and this role might be a change for her. Sakshi had also watched the first season of 24 and loved it. These are the reasons why she has been awarded the role. Moreover, Ekta Kapoor endorsed Sakshi, as they both are close pals for more than 14 years.
