, the Bollywood Singer, who had been suffering from coronavirus attack, is said to have cured and returned home. The latest information about her is that the singer had offered help to donate her plasma to be used to treat other COVID19 patients. It is heard that Kanika called Prof Tulika Chandra, the head of the transfusion medicine department at King George's Medical University and informed this. She had offered them to use her blood and plasma for research and also had given blood.
The University had already been successful with the plasma transfusion. They have cured a patient with this treatment method. It is to be noted that the person who donates the plasma should be weighing more than 50 kg. Their hemoglobin level should be above 12.5 and besides these, the patient should not have malaria, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and some more ailments.
