Singer Kanika Kapoor, who sang Chhil Gaye Naina from NH10 and showed her powerful side says that a lot many people didn’t think that the girl who sang Baby Doll, Lovely and Chitti Kaliyaan could have sung a song as intense as Chhil Gaye Naina. She felt great when a veteran singer came up to her and identified her as the girl who sang Chhil Gaye Naina and congratulated and extended his blessings to her.
Kanika feels that a singer should try and explore music throughout their lives and not restrict themselves. She sings for the love she has got for the art and does not want to prove any point to anybody in Bollywood or otherwise. She will keep singing with her soul, even if she sings an item song. With some exciting projects lined up, the girl is working on “Sufi” music and reveals that the listeners will get to hear her classical side shortly. She is at the prep-stage for a few singles that she will be releasing soon, and she doesn’t want to speak about it at the moment.
