At Last, The MNS Approves ADHM Release!

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, which opposed the release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, announced that they would not protest against the release of the film. It is said that the director and producer of the film Karan Johar had made an announcement that the first show collection of the film will be given to the family of the army men, who lost their lives in the Uri attack. He also said that along with the title card, he would be inserting a dedicated message to the army. This made the MNS settle down and the chief of the organisation, Raj Thackeray agreed for the release of the film. Initially, there was opposition to the film, as it has Fawad Khan, the Pakistani actor. As MNS believes that Uri attack has the intervention of Pakistan, he opposed for the release of a Pakistani actor’s film. Filmmaker Mukesh Bhatt served a lot in solving this issue. He met the Home Minister, Rajnath Singh and Maharashtra CM, Devendra Fadnavis and explained the situation to them and get their consent to release the film.
