Bhitali or Vitali Das was a Bihu (folk song) singer from Majgaon, Assam. She was born on 6th June 1979 to a family of four. She did her schooling at Senairam Higher Secondary and at Multipurpose School in Guwahati, and later graduated from Guwahati University. Bhitali names Lata Mangeshkar as her role model. Her musical career took off in 1992, and with a career spanning over two decades, Bhitali sang more than five thousand Bihu songs.
Apart from her solo projects, Bhitali collaborated with various artists like Zubeen Garg, Bornali Kalita, Nirmali Fas, Tarali Sarma, and many more.
