Born in Lahore and based in Karachi, Rukhsana Nigar is a talented and prolific Urdu writer of novels and television series, with over thirty stories and twenty-five dramas produced under her name. She completed her studies at the Comprehensive Group of Schools and Colleges in Sargodha. Amongst the numerous works she has done, Rukhsana is chiefly known for Khushboo Ka Ghar (2011), Choti (2014), Dil Nahin Hara Hain (2014), Dil Aino Ka Shehar (2015), Haasil (2016), Amanat (2021), and Kaala Jadu, to name a few.
